I think I am a very nice person. People like me, and I am genuine and kind. Also, I believe that the principles in psychiatry are most important. For example, when it comes to psychotherapy, I do psychotherapy and prescribe medications as needed, and very few doctors are doing that. I establish eye contact with the patient while maintain- ing appropriate boundaries and they appreciate that. I am very passionate about treating my patients, and I’m very happy in my profession. I am always deter- mined to discover the best course of treatment for individuals who count on me. I like to keep paper records of all my patients; I have records that go back 38 years. Many doctors destroy their records after seven years and I think that is a major problem. Practitioners should keep patient records indefinitely. What is the most important issue/ challenge you are dealing with in your industry right now? I think that destroying medical records is an important issue. What excites you the most about your industry? I get to see my patients for many years. In fact, some of them I have seen for 30 years. They want to see me and I want to see them. I also like that I work for myself as a business owner. I can make my own decisions for my practice. “ I believe that my principles in psychiatry are most important. I am always determined to discover the best course of treatment for individuals who count on me. ”
