Networking. I joined LinkedIn and have been networking since then, which has been very successful for me. Facebook is also a good resource for networking, but LinkedIn has been the biggest success. What are two key behaviors/personality traits that allow you to be effective in your role? Notation and dedication. If I learn something that I think can be used later on, I write it down, and my dedication ensures that what I write down gets done. I try to stick to it as much as possible. Sometimes we have to switch things up because things change. What is the most important issue/challenge you are dealing with in your industry right now? The most challenging thing is COVID-19 and the laws changing in real estate. I run three different businesses, so I have to stay on top of things and always do my research. Just recently in trucking, three or four laws changed. What new innovations or technologies do you feel will shape the future of your industry? I have an app now that’s called DealDriven and it’s fantastic. All I have to do is pull it up and I can do any search any- where in the world. I think that apps and technology for my industry – not just for real estate, but trucking also – are amazing. In the future, technology is going to make all the difference. What excites you the most about your industry? Helping individuals. That is my number one goal and it makes me very excited. I was homeless once and no one helped me — I had to get out of that situation myself. So, I feel very rewarded when I’m able to help someone else. Leonard P. We were just recognized as number one worldwide as far as our support for the med- ical industry. The Rose Society helps children and charities worldwide. We are all volunteers and we just keep expanding, which is what it is all about. What are two key behaviors/personality traits that allow you to be effective in your role? I am a good Christianman, who likes to enjoy good company and take care of good people. What is the most important issue/challenge you are dealing with in your industry right now? COVID-19. As a matter of fact, when the phone rang for this interview, I thought it was an organization that wants to help our charity. We are number one worldwide supporting the medical industry and what we do is help doctors become more sufficient. How do you feel your industry has changed/evolved over time? It has expanded beyond focusing on one little thing and raising money to help a few people. We help families now and have done fundraising for people in the military. What new innovations or technologies do you feel will shape the future of your industry? Just the internet. The internet itself is incredible and having the ability to text people and receive videos. The magic of the moment happens because of technology. What excites you the most about your industry?
