He also held various global positions at the Fortune 500 company Amdahl Corporation, followed by senior vice president positions at mid-size technology firms, growing one publicly held data storage company’s share value from $1 to $20, and a privately held consulting firm’s revenue from $15 million to $65 million. Mr. Perry then led sales and marketing as the executive vice president of Numetrics, whichwas ultimately sold to McKinsey. As a partner at Pegasus Venture Capital, he drove its fastest-growing startup from inception before branching out with a friend to start BK Sales and Service, which he grew to accommodate customers in 40 states. In his current position with The Window Specialist, Mr. Perry is developing ground-breaking software to impact the window industry. As a professor, Mr. Perry gained a reputation for his ability to engage with students through his love for coding and engineering. Throughout the course of his career, he worked in 29 countries with many Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Perry is most proud of his involvement with the concept of outsourcing before it became mainstream. In academia, he conducted classes comprised of 280 master’s degree students through the Master’s Project. He has taught more senior and master’s capstone projects than any other professor at San Jose State University spanning its colleges of engineering, business, and science. Likewise, Mr. Perry has been able to adapt to new industries, such as Bluetooth, semiconductor R&D, telephony, and construction to such levels that he is sometimes called upon as an expert witness in litigation.
