Windsor serves as a child life counselor for Inspira Health Network, where she works with children and adolescents struggling with suicidal ideations, self-harm, and those with psychotic behaviors as well as patients with aggressive behaviors. Prior to obtaining her current role, she worked for Inspira as a parking lot cashier and as an academic writing coach for Capella University. During the early stages of her career, Dr. Windsor gained valuable expertise in counseling, sales and more with Underwood Memorial Hospital, Estell Manor School, Rosa International Middle School and Valle Birds. Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Windsor completed coursework in psychology at Rowan College of Gloucester County and Kaplan University. Subsequently, she expanded on her professional knowledge, earning a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Phoenix and a master's degree in general school counseling, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in advanced studies in human behavior from Capella University. Dr. Windsor presented her dissertation research to Capella’s Virtual Psychology Research Conference: Psychological Research Applied to Everyday Life. Over the years, Dr. Windsor also received certifications through the American Heart Association, the National Board for Certified Counselors, the American School Counselor Association, and the American Red Cross. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Windsor maintains affiliation with the American School Counselor Association, Chi Sigma Iota, the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey School Counselor Association, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Outside of her work, she also contributes to her community through various charitable organizations. While her career has been filled with standout moments, Dr. Windsor takes the most pride in her interactions with her patients and the letters of gratitude she receives from them after they are discharged. She is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness among children and adolescents. Looking toward the future, Dr. Windsor I’ve had so many different experiences in life that, without those experiences, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
