Owning several businesses through- out her career, she currently excels as owner and president of PillowTalk Studio. Dedicated to civic endeavors, she has been a board member and president of the President’s Club of Vista Del Mar for over 30 years. She has been a board member of the Beverly Hills Police Foundation for 10 years and sponsored a mental health dog named Nami, who lives at the police department. She also dedicates much of her time to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Foundation Board, helping them install a meditation garden in honor of her parents, Joyce and Stanley Black, cameras in the NICU, and a therapist for families and doctors. She serves on the advisory council for the National Alliance on Mental Illness Westside Los Angeles. Ms. Warner has been the spokesperson of the Janis Black Warner Speaker Series for over a decade and has authored two books. She is writing a third book of inspirations, tentatively titled “Pain to Purpose: A Journey to Mental Health Wellness – Getting Rid of Stigma by Telling Our Stories.” Driven by a strong desire to help her community and society, she has always been a philanthropist and has dedicated her life to serving others. She aims to continue lending her wealth of knowledge and compassionate nature to other individuals and groups in the coming years, with the intent of leaving a legacy of inspiration. She has been married to Douglas Warner for over 20 years. Together, they create magic in all their endeavors and share four children. How have you navigated disruptions in your industry to remain a top professional? It’s a challenge – every day, I try to help others. Life, as my father says, is not without pain; there could be pain and disruption, and to become a top professional isn’t always positive. However, I navigate disruption through my positive attitude and kind spirit. I think out of the box and embrace change by adapting to clients’ needs. Whether for business or philanthropy, I infuse my talent, experience, style and expertise to adapt to their needs, In today’s fast-paced world, disruptions are the new normal; I embrace this change and uncertainty as an opportunity for growth and innovation.
