Scales is the chief executive officer of SCALESOLOGY, a firm he launched in 2019 after accumulating critical experience assisting with the growth of companies in the information technology sector. In collaboration with a data specialist and a programmer, both former colleagues, Mr. Scales founded SCALESOLOGY to provide clients with the transparent conversion of technical information into simple language, which can then be applied to manage practical situations and advance the positive outcomes of complex business challenges. While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in political science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Mr. Scales built a video game that sparked a deeper interest in the merger of technology and society, as well as a curiosity about programming. He subsequently pursued a master’s degree in public affairs at IUPUI, which he earned in 2004 while serving as the director of the Intelenet Commission for the Indiana Web Academy Program. Mr. Scales also boasts key proficiencies in the infrastructure segment of the technology industry. From 2004 to 2005, he excelled as the vice president of operations and product development with Learning Enhancement Corporation, after which he established himself as the vice president of business development and operations with Pinnacle Solutions Inc. through 2016. He continued his career at the rank of managing director, channels and commercial sector for RedMane Technology. Numerous accolades have marked the distinct milestones of Mr. Scales’ career thus far. Notably, CIOReview, a leading technology magazine, declared his firm the Most Promising Big Data Service Company in 2022. Additionally, Mr. Scales was humbled to be featured on the cover of CIOReview in 2022. How have you navigated disruptions in your industry to remain a top professional? Much of it is being able to pierce through the PR rhetoric to take something and make it practical for businesses to use. They hear about new technology, but how does it apply to their business? That’s something I focus on as a business owner and look at what’s practical for that company to achieve based on their goals, whether One of our core values is ensuring we’re on the leading edge, not the cutting edge, where we can use leading-edge technologies in ways that are secure and cost-effective for the organization.
