She currently serves as a business computer information technology teacher at Commonwealth Charter Academy in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a role she began in 2024. In this capacity, Ms. Gindlesperger instructs over 500 students per year, demonstrating her adaptability and expertise in online education. Before joining CCA, Ms. Gindlesperger dedicated 20 years to Spring Grove Area School District in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, as a BCIT teacher from 2004 to 2024. There, she wrote the curriculum for and taught more than 10 different subject matters throughout her tenure. Before embarking on her teaching journey, Ms. Gindlesperger worked in the private sector and gained firsthand knowledge and appreciation of the business world. Ms. Gindlesperger’s academic background is both comprehensive and aligned with her professional pursuits. She acquired a Bachelor of Arts in business and economics from Wilson College in 2001 and a Master of Business Administration from Frostburg State University in 2002. In 2003, she earned a K-12 certification in business, computers and information technology from Shippensburg University, and a Master of Science in instructional technology from Towson University in 2019. Besides her formal education, Ms. Gindlesperger’s commitment to ongoing professional development is evident through her continued completion of PDE SAS Professional Development trainings and ACT48 credits. Beyond her classroom achievements, Ms. Gindlesperger is a proud member of P.E.O. International, a Philanthropic Educational Organization dedicated to motivating women. Her induction into this philanthropic group holds special significance, as Ms. Gindlesperger was inducted by her mother, herself a longstanding member. Throughout her career, Ms. Gindlesperger has demonstrated exceptional skill in understanding her students’ individual needs and adapting curriculum accordingly.
