Before embarking upon his professional endeavors, he studied economics at Clark University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. He went on to earn a Master of Liberal Arts at Harvard University in 1997. Mr. Hillery has excelled as a writer, director and an executive producer for Starlight Productions. He has been executive producer or writer on seven completed feature films. Golden Globe (®) nominee Eric Roberts starred in his first feature film, “Project Solitude,” in 2009. “Legionnaire’s Trail,” features Academy Award (®) nominee, Mickey Rourke. Mr. Hillery’s creative collaborators are completing “Big Timber,” which features Academy Award (®) nominee Bruce Dern. A charter member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum, he seeks to develop more of his original material into screenplays while aiming to fulfill entertainment desires of special-interest audiences with quality content. Mr. Hillery was also accepted into the Producers Guild of America. In addition to his work in media, Mr. Hillery is an accredit- ed tax assessor in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. From1987 to 1996, he was elected three times to the Board of Property Tax Assessors for Sudbury, Massachusetts. Furthermore, Mr. Hillery is the third-generation namesake and presenter of the annual Hillery Award at the Rindge Technical School Alumni meeting, the oldest academic award at the oldest active high school alumni association in the United States (Rindge is now part of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, established in 1648). Mr. Hillery is a member of the Harvard Faculty Club, as well as the Harvard Clubs of Boston, New York and Nevada. He is the sole inventor and owner of inventions disclosed in U.S. Patent No. 10,831,239 and patents pending.
