Mr. Silverman’s specialties include contract negotiations, construction management, contractor and design-build agreements, and design and construction provisions in leases and build-to-suit structures. Prior to his appointment with Rosenberg & Estis, Mr. Silverman served as a partner with Duane MorrisLLP,ThelenReid&PriestLLP, andGolenbock & Barell. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the late Chief Judge Lumbard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Silverman is recognized for representing the construction of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and for his services involving the JetBlue terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Further, he played integral roles in the establishment of the Harlem campus of the School of Social Work at Hunter College, the new Teaching and Learning Center at Barnard College, and numerous large- scale and complex commercial, residential, mixed- use, and interior projects in the New York City metropolitan area and elsewhere.
