How do you feel your industry has changed/evolved over time? The joy of music-making is universal. With Finale and online technologies, I have the honor of composing for ensembles across the globe, including the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Sydney Opera House. You have to read up on any changes that are happening. I follow quite a few media sources that tell me daily what’s changing and then I look further to see what changes pertain to me. What is the most important issue/challenge you are dealing with in your industry right now? The changes in policies, not within our organization, but in the national government. How do you feel your industry has changed/evolved over time? It is constantly changing, so it’s hard to say because every day is different. Sometimes the changes are minute by minute. DIDIER N. Diagnostic testing and the appearance of CT, MRI, PET Scans, and now interventional imaging. What is the most important issue/ challenge you are dealing with in your industry right now? Practicing more and more interventional procedures on aging techniques without opening the patient and using only probes is very new. How have you navigated disruptions in your industry to remain a top professional? The problems in France are different from other countries, but essentially, there is a problem of security when it comes to money, but that is the only fight I’ve had to encounter during all my years. Things are more and more expensive, and it is slowing down advancement.
